About WhatsApp Business API fees
PatientSort's subscription pricing covers the software only. WhatsApp Business API conversation fees are billed by Meta directly to your clinic's WhatsApp Business Account. Typical pricing is between $0.005 and $0.10 per conversation depending on country and message category. You stay in control of your WhatsApp account and your messaging spend.
Honest about what's not yet included
A few things sophisticated buyers will ask about, with where we actually stand today:
- SSO (SAML / OIDC) — can be custom-built for Group design partners; standard rollout planned later.
- Public REST API and webhooks — planned, not shipped.
- Formal SLA with service credits — we target 4-business-hour response, but no contractual penalty until we have ops to back it.
- SOC 2 attestation — pursuing later. Happy to share our security questionnaire and infrastructure overview in the meantime.
PatientSort is not HIPAA-compliant. WhatsApp is not an approved channel for U.S. Protected Health Information.

Are these final prices?
These are our early-access rates for the first cohort of clinics. Public pricing may rise after the beta closes — early-access partners keep their rate for the lifetime of the subscription.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — a free 14-day trial, no credit card required. Clinics accepted into the early-access cohort get a 30-day pilot with founder-led setup.
How is a “conversation” counted?
A conversation is a 24-hour window of messages with one patient, following WhatsApp's own pricing model. Most clinics see 8–12 conversations per patient across the full funnel including post-op follow-up. Hitting your monthly cap doesn't cut you off — overages bill at $0.10 per additional conversation.
Who pays the WhatsApp Business API fees?
Meta bills WhatsApp Business API conversation fees directly to your clinic's own WhatsApp Business Account. PatientSort never marks them up or bundles them. You keep ownership of your WhatsApp account and full visibility into your messaging spend.
Can I add more seats later?
Yes. Seats are billed pro-rated for the remainder of the cycle and added through your account dashboard. Removing a seat takes effect at the next renewal.
What happens if I cancel?
You stay on through the end of the paid period, then your workspace becomes read-only for 30 days so you can export your data, then it's permanently deleted. See the Terms for full details.
Do you support clinics in the U.S.?
Outside HIPAA contexts, yes. WhatsApp is not a HIPAA-eligible channel, so PatientSort isn't a fit for clinics with U.S. patients subject to HIPAA. Cosmetic and cash-pay clinics are typically fine — talk to us if you're unsure.
